Usability Test - Import Function

Background: 

The product/developing in China was considering to improve the current Import function design on Direct Cloud. The design team worked with the product manager to do the usability test and provide the feedback to the core team in the States.

Goal: 

To examine the existing usability issues and redesign the flow and UI

​

Methodology: 

Moderated Qualitative Study / On site with meeting room computer

​

Outcome:

-Found some usability and UI issues that needed redesign

-A usability test reported was generated and presented to the team​

​

Work:​

• Conduct usability test

• Test results analysis

• Propose new design

​

I led the usability test, starting from the test plan draft, recruitment and mentor the product manager how to facilitate the test.
The product manager acted as the moderator and I was the note taker during the test.

After the test, I analyzed the results and proposed a new design.
